On Motzei Shabbat, 8th March, Mitzpah and I will set off on our 100-mile walk. Along the way we're making more than 25 stops at places that represent the values to which I and the New North London Synagogue community aspire.

I'll be posting blog entries daily, in which I'll try to give some sense of what I hope will be a week full of inspiration, learning and reflection.

Shalom Rabbi Wittenberg and Mitzpah,

This Jewish spin on the fabled 'One Man and His Dog' had been taken literally! Well, what a way to make a reclaimed folklore have practical purpose for the Synagogue community.

Maskelah and I offer our support and hope to meet you both on one of your stops.

'Mitzpah and the Mogs'
Went on a fundraising mission jog,
One Rabbi and his Jewish dog;
Never considered that she was scared of wild 'mogs';
butterflies, lizards and and croaking bull frogs!

One Rabbi and his dog,

Poetic-Observer

Best Wishes
